Interior Department trying to push through wolf delisting before wolf managment plan is approved

Just found this update on Wildlife Defenders Blog, not good news for wolves in Wyoming.  This plan is allowing them to be shot without a permit and on national forested area which is publicly owned land BEFORE the wolf management plan goes though.

  1. No, this is not good news at all. And I don’t understand Idaho’s “plan” to shoot an unlimited number of wolves. How could this be approved as management?

  2. That’s what happens when politicians look at wolves as pests and not part of the ecosystem. They need to be educated!
