The Federal Government has just posted its plan on the delisting of wolves in Wyoming. Although the conservation community has seen this coming for a while, it is still a major disappointment for endangered wildlife conservation everywhere. BUT, there is still time to help! The plan will not go into effect until summer 2012 at the earliest and October 2012 at the latest. We now have a 100 day review period where the public can voice its opinion on the subject. Defenders of wildlife has put together a petition for the Fish and Wildlife Service Director Dan Ashe asking him to reconsider the delisting without science to back up the decision. PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK TO ADD YOUR NAME TO THE PETITION, IT ONLY TAKES 30 SECONDS!
